feeders, and connections. The main source of loss appears to have been in the electrolytic capacitors. g) Measurement of the period of half cycle oscillations in phases one and two were made. They were found to be less than 3% away from the calculated values. Measured resistance (total) values were higher than caluculated but included contact resistance, higher resistivity in the aluminum feeders, and other effects not fully taken into account. h) Ohmic bucket currents turned out to be less than 1-2% in error from calculated values. The mass of the bucket came to be 10-20% higher than desired but still acceptable. Tests showed that ohmic bucket can equal or exceed superconducting current densities during the acceleration period. i) Tests of the entire system accelerating an ohmic bucket were successful but final velocities seemed to be less than expected. Quantitative analysis of how much less (^ 10-20% by looking at general cases in section 6.1) were not performed due to lack of time before funding ran out.
