The mechanism is equipped with three terminal switches installed in the upper hinges of the shock absorbers. The APDA uses a redundant alternating current drive. During retraction of the ring the drive must overcome the force of the shock absorbers, which is created by the springs and dampers. The schematic of the latches of the ring is similar to that described above. To disengage the latches, sequential electromagnets are used (see Figure 1.25). Two doubling magnets installed in each of the three pairs of latches operate on a general lever mechanism, releasing the latches in each pair. To disengage in the
