The simplified test unit with one mobile model may be used to test docking devices where a high degree of accuracy of process reproduction is not required, for example, in relative evaluation of various types of docking devices. 7.7.3. Hybrid Complex Dynamic Test Unit The hybrid complex test unit (Figure 7.7) consists of a computer, electromechanical drive test unit, control system, and measurement system. The mobile platform of the test unit (Figure 7.8) has six degrees of freedom, and the docking assembly installed on the platform moves arbitrarily in space using six tracking hydraulic drives. The second docking assembly is installed on the immobile base of the unit through a system of sensors which measure six components of the force of interaction during docking.
