Failures or deviations from the required characteristics in debugging, and if there are no modifications to the construction, then debugging testing plays the role of qualification testing. However, there are almost always constructive drawbacks in debugging, and individual parts of the docking device are modified. Tn this case, to reduce the time needed to create the device, and to be economical, it is more suitable to perform not full duplication, but to reduce somewhat the volume of verification. The following general concepts are considered in the definition of a program of qualification testing: 1) important types of testing must be done, including comprehensive testing, which verifies the absence of critical failures in the reproduction of conditions which have the greatest effect on the construction; 2) verification of those elements and operations in which there were failures during debugging, and those which were changed; 3) it is expedient to perform separate types of testing only on units or in the docking assembly; 4) one can exclude those tests which were not planned in debugging and those changes in the construction which had no effect. 7.4.4. Testing After Assembly of the Spacecraft The docking assembly is tested as part of the docking system in the assembled spacecraft. This testing is done both at the debugging stage and in the preparation for flight. The real analog of the spacecraft is used in all basic stages of the work, including debugging, qualification testing, pre-flight preparation, including training of Flight Control Center personnel, and, when necessary, during flight. Testing on the assembled spacecraft is divided into autonomous verification of the docking system and comprehensive testing of a number of interacting systems. At the cosmodrome [11] comprehensive testing and final operations are also performed (removal of protective hatches, inspection, lubrication, cleaning, etc.). 7.4.5. Flight Testing The docking devices created up to the present time have been used directly a number of times for docking in space flights: Soyuz, in three flights, Gemini in
