The SPS will remain as one of the various disciplines of studies utilizing the facility. If the SPS development activities expand to the extent to interfere with other missions, a dedicated space station will be required. An example of this type of space station is conceived here. Premise The following are summary of guidelines for this study (9). 1. The objective is to demonstrate feasibility of 1 GW SPS. 2. The power level is 10 MW. 3. The mission orbit is geosynchronous and power is transmitted by 2.45 GHz microwave. 4. The STS is the main transportation carrier. 5. At least one ground power receiving station is constructed. 6. The project is international.
