This can be seen by referring to the subarray pattern in Fig. 7; a F-axis grating lobe remains in the null when the pattern is shifted in the X-axis direction. The complete field pattern, main beam plus grating lobes, is summarized in Fig. 15 for a ground cut along the X-axis and the 45° axis.
